Find out from your insurance provider if you need a referral from your PCP. If you need a referral, your provider's clinic will get in touch with KCPS. If a referral is not required, call or email to get the process started.

IMPORTANT: unfortunately, the need for psychotherapy services in the Tri-Cities area is very high, and we are unable to take on new therapy clients at this time. We are still able to take on clients for one-time Diagnostic Evaluations. Please feel free to reach out if you would like referrals to other therapists in the area.

KCPS offers:

Psychotherapy for individuals 13 and up

ADHD Evaluations for ages 5 and up (must be in school)

Clinical Supervision for psychology trainees

Yes, Klingensmith Counseling and Psychological Services is currently accepting Medicare, Oregon Medicaid (OHP), Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, Regence, and Kaiser.

KCPS is IN PROCESS to be able to accept Washington Medicaid* (Apple Health), Ambetter through Coordinated Care, Commercial Molina, Out of State Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Premera.

Services for thoughts whose insurance is not accepted are available for self-pay with possibility of a sliding scale fee. As the practice expands, KCPS may begin to accept more insurance providers, as well.

* KCPS is Only accepting WA Medicaid (Apple Health) for ONE-TIME Diagnostic Evaluation

Klingensmith Counseling and Psychological Services is open Monday & Wednesday from 8am - 5pm AND Tuesdays and Thursday from 8am - 7pm.
