About Klingensmith Counseling and Psychological Services
Professional Philosophy
Klingensmith Counseling and Psychological Services aims to improve access to mental health care to those are limited by socioeconomic status, insurance providers, and health disparities. KCPS operates from a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) informed model of care, emphasizing the importance of individual and cultural factors that impact health and wellbeing.
KCPS Offered Services
KCPS offers individual therapy to individuals 13 and older, couples counseling, WPATH evaluations, ADHD evaluations, and supervision.
Coming soon: psychological assessment (memory and cognitive testing for all ages).
Our Providers
Dr. Angela Klingensmith has been practicing in the PNW for 5 years.
Originally from Northeastern Wisconsin, Dr. Klingensmith received her BA in Psychology at St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI. She graduated in 2012 and earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at the MN School of Professional Psychology in Eagan, MN and completed her pre-doctoral internship at Primary Care Psychology Associates in Chicago, IL.
After graduating with her Doctorate in 2018, she began her Postdoctoral Residency at Mirasol Family Health Center in Hermiston, OR. She worked for two and a half years as a faculty at the Kadlec Family Medicine Residency Clinic before transitioning to private practice in early 2024.
